Il est fort probable que, face à la situation actuelle et la crise sanitaire mondiale, les temps de vacances soient extrêmement contraints et rares.
Si le déconfinement le permet, peut-être sera-t-il possible d’envisager quelques séjours de 2 ou 3 nuits sur le territoire français ou dans des pays limitrophes.
Pour un court séjour de proximité, la Corse fait figure de destination idéale. Proche et pourtant si différente, l’île de beauté réserve bien des surprises aux visiteurs.
En hiver, l’option d’un week-end à Ajaccio paraît la meilleure solution. Voici pourquoi.

Ajaccio, facile d’accès

Ajaccio et Bastia sont les 2 plus grandes villes de Corse. En hiver, leur aéroport sont les mieux desservis de l’île. Ils permettent ainsi d’organiser un séjour facilement depuis la plupart des grandes régions françaises. En moins de 2 heures d’avion depuis Paris, vous voilà au bord de la mer, dans le Golfe d’Ajaccio.
L’aéroport d’Ajaccio n’est qu’à 15 minutes de voiture du centre ville, la location d’un véhicule pour un week-end n’est pas du tout obligatoire.

Ajaccio, un centre ville riche et animé

Le meilleur moyen de vraiment profiter de tous les avantages de la cité impériale en hiver est d’opter pour un hôtel en centre ville d’Ajaccio comme le très bel hôtel Fesch, 3 étoiles au cœur de la ville et son rooftop panoramique.

Une fois en ville, Ajaccio montre un visage très agréable. Cette belle station balnéaire bourgeoise ne s’arrête pas de vivre pendant l’hiver. Les rues principales comme le Cours Napoléon et la rue Fesch offrent de nombreux commerces mais aussi des musées de grande qualité. La vieille ville est elle aussi riche en belles échoppes et lieux culturels incontournables comme bien évidement la maison natale de Napoléon. Ce musée d’État permet de découvrir le faste passé de la famille Bonaparte lors de visites d’1h30 environ.
À visiter aussi la cathédrale toute proche, et son parvis face à la mer.

Le soir, la vie se déplace dans la rue du Roi Jérôme et la rue Bonaparte. Ces 2 artères parallèles regroupent de nombreux restaurants et bars pour découvrir les spécialités corses.

Ajaccio et les plages de la route des Sanguinaires

Oui, même en hiver, il est impressionnant de découvrir la fréquentation des plages d’Ajaccio. Avec son micro climat si particulier, les belles journées ensoleillées sont très fréquentes, permettant des bains de soleil et surtout de profiter d’une des spécialités locales : déjeuner au bord de la mer dans une fameuse paillote.
En hiver, n’hésitez pas à commander un plateau d’oursins, grande tradition ajaccienne.

Cette route des Sanguinaires vous mènera jusqu’à la Parata pour y découvrir un point de vue unique sur les îles Sanguinaires, lieu de promenade très apprécié.

Ajaccio au coeur de la nature

Tout en résidant au cœur d’Ajaccio, vous pourrez programmer une petite randonnée hivernale sur le Sentier des Crêtes. Au départ de la ville, ce très beau chemin serpente sur la colline pour prendre de la hauteur ( 300/400m) et offrir une randonnée de 2 à 5 heures avec un point du vue incroyable sur le golfe d’Ajaccio, les montagnes enneigées en arrière plan et les îles.

Porticcio, l’autre attrait du Golfe d’Ajaccio

Si vous souhaitez passer un moment dans la station balnéaire de Porticcio, au sud du golfe, il est possible de prendre la navette maritime au départ du port d’Ajaccio.
